National east/west and north/south transportation arteries run through the Sunflower Health Network region.  Interstate 70, runs through the heart of the region and Interstate 80 is located to the north of the region in Nebraska, both of which link the region to the east and west coasts.  Highway 81 and Interstate 135 serve to link the region all the way to the Canadian and Mexican border.  Numerous railroads, including Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe all make stops in the region.  Air Service to the region is provided by several community airports as well as four Regional Airports that provide commercial flights to any destination worldwide.
