About Heather Fuller

Heather Fuller is the Executive Director of the Sunflower Health Network. Prior to working for the Network, Heather worked for the Kansas Department of Health & Environment as an Outreach Coordinator/Public Health Educator overseeing grant programs in a 20 county area. She was also the Wellness Director at Clay County Medical Center.

Heather earned her Master of Science degree in Kinesiology (with an emphasis on exercise physiology and health promotion) from Kansas State University. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Kansas Public Health Leadership Institute. Heather serves on the board of the National Cooperative of Health Networks and is the Past President of the Kansas Association of Healthcare Executives.



About the Sunflower Health Network

The Sunflower Health Network is a not-for-profit organization that consists of 16 counties located primarily in North Central Kansas. According to the 2005 Census Bureau Data, the total population for this predominately rural area is 179,056.

Sunflower Health Network's (SHN) specific purpose is to improve the health status of the population. The 16 member hospitals, in conjunction with their medical staffs, have developed a network that fosters cooperation and coordination. The priority has been to enhance the integration of health related services among the SHN member communities while respecting local autonomy.
